Tony C. Smith, producer and host of the SF audio fiction podcast Starship Sofa, has started podcasting The Sofanauts, a weekly roundup of SF-related news topics, in which Tony shares the stage with other people from the SF scene. The guests for the second episode, which just went live on Saturday, are Paul Graham Raven, who reviews science fiction books for Vector (critical magazine of the BSFA) Foundation, Strange Horizons Hub Magazine SF Site; SF writer, photographer, web designer, and managing Editor for Escape Pod Jeremy Tolbert; and me. We talk about the short fiction magazine market, the Nebula Awards, J.G. Ballard, Jeremy commits career suicide, and I falsely imply that I’m the only full-time tor.com employee (for the record: Torie Atkinson’s 100% Tor.com, straight-up represent—I just get nervous and inaccurate when I’m on a mic).
